Oil and gas industry products are frequently classified as dangerous goods. The widely accepted ADR dangerous goods classification defines the term “dangerous goods” and divides substances into nine categories (classes) based on the source of danger: fire hazard, toxicity, ignition, spontaneous combustion, explosive properties, and so on. Violations of storage rules while transporting hazardous oil and gas products can result in serious harm to the transportation crew, as well as to vehicles and the environment. As a result, special precautions for the transportation of liquefied natural gas, petroleum gas, and other dangerous goods include special markings, packaging, securing goods on vehicles, precautions to ensure the goods\’ safety, and temperature, humidity, and lighting requirements.

Special requirements apply to vehicle drivers because the delivery of some dangerous goods necessitates specialized knowledge and skills. Geova Storage BV works with experienced professionals who have been trained in appropriate safe driving and have more than three years of truck driving experience. Regardless of the physical and chemical properties of the goods, our drivers provide safe transportation. Geova Storage BV also has a Safety & Quality Assessment System (SQAS) certificate. This certificate confirms the company\’s compliance with the requirements for logistics providers in the field of neutral and hazardous substance transportation.
